Hello! I'm Caroline, a lifestyle newborn and family photographer based in Prince Edward Island. My love for family photography stemmed from the growing of my own family. I initially picked up my camera 10 years ago simply to learn how to take better pictures of my son. I’ve settled into the niche of family photography for the simple reason that our kids change and grow so quickly, and our tired parent brains just won’t remember the details. Let me help you remember this season and this moment with your family. The season where your son is obsessed with dinosaurs and insists on making dinosaur noises all throughout our session, the season where your kiddo makes the best and most hilarious faces, the season where your kiddo is obsessed with goldfish crackers and needs to have one package in hand in order to have a smiley face. These are seasons of life with our little ones that fly by so quickly. Let’s savour them.
More details about me? I’m an imperfect person trying to learn from and model my life after my teacher, Jesus. I’m married to my high-school sweetheart. I am a 3 time boy mama, and am severely outnumbered in my home. I’d rather be sifting through a thrift store than bouncing from store to store in a mall. I have a daily focus on health and wellness as I have an autoimmune disease that has forced me to be a little more intentional about how I live my life.

My goal for your newborn session is to capture your new, beautiful, chaotic, joyful, exhausting routine with your bundle of love. This new stage is something to celebrate as a couple and a family and I want to capture every moment of that—feedings, snuggles, adoring your little one’s perfect details, and enjoying this moment with your partner.
Lifestyle Family Sessions
I love the idea of a beautiful ‘christmas card type ‘ of photo with everyone in your family smiling at the camera; however, I am the photographer who holds more value in the real photos of you and your loved ones doing real life together. What does that look like for you? Baking together on a Saturday? Playing board games together? Going for a hike and exploring? Simply getting down on the floor with your toddler and playing toys together? The idea of a ‘perfect’ images is great, but I really want to capture your family doing what they love in this season of life, and I think we can lose that and forget that when we focus on just the pretty images we share on social media. Let me showcase you and what makes your family special!
